Horsetail Fall - Yosemite National Park, CA
AKA Firefall (see *note below)
*NOTE: This natural phenomenon only occurs at sunset, mid to late February for two weeks and depends upon sunlight.
If too much cloud cover and no sun, the effect will not occur, however, with sunlight it will occur without waterflow.
NOTE: When I went (2/21/22), there was barely a trickle of water falling.

Date visited: 2/21/22
Length of Falls: 1575 feet.
NOTE: This is an ephemeral waterfall and only has water flowing a few months in the year around spring.
Parking: Yes. Paved. Park at Yosemite Lodge at walk 1.5 miles one way.
Hours: Sunrise to Sunset (the Firefall happens at sunset but get there earlier)
Public Restrooms: Yes.
Picnic Area: Yes.
Cost: $35 fee to enter Yosemite National Park.
Round-Trip Hiking Distance to Falls: 3.0 miles
Trail Descriptions: Paved. Good spots are near El Capitan picnic area.
Stairs: No.
Trail Wheelchair Accessible: Yes. Handicap parking available with Disability Placard.
