Is Professional Cuddling a joke or is it real? Why are you doing this?
Professional Cuddling is absolutely a real thing and the need for cuddlers is continually increasing. In addition, due to the quarantine with Covid-19, people have become very lonely, depressed and stressed. There has been a tendency that social distancing has made people very distant socially, both physically and also mentally. Furthermore, not having social interaction has led to many health issues in recent years. I am doing Professional Cuddling to make ones body, mind and soul happy and to feel at ease. What should I expect in a Cuddling Companion Session?
The main thing is to have fun and relax and just let it all happen naturally. Each session is most likely gonna be different. Some sessions you might talk more and some sessions you might physically cuddle more. Some sessions you might even sing or be sung to (yes, The Cuddling Companion can sing pretty well). Some sessions you might sit in pure quiet, read books or watch TV or movies. It's most important that the Rules are followed for each session and that there is respect and proper communication between client and the cuddler. It may take several sessions to figure out what you enjoy most and least about your cuddling experiences.
Is a Cuddling Session a massage session?
No. Only light touching and caressing of appropriate and agreed upon body areas is an acceptable form of touch, besides hugs and spooning. A massage is not part of the session. I'm not a legally certified massage therapist, so I don't even attempt to pretend like I am. If you are looking for a massage session, please look elsewhere.
Who can become a client of The Cuddling Companion?
As long as you abide by the Rules and are of legal age, then you can become a client. There is no discrimination of race, ethnicity, gender or age (must be legal age).
Do you provide any Cuddling Sessions free of charge?
No. All sessions will require a payment up front and in full. Acceptable forms of payment are Venmo & Paypal.
Will there be any happy endings to a Cuddling Session?
No. For ALL sessions, the client and cuddler will follow the Rules and absolutely NO sexual gestures or activity (not even kissing) will occur at any time before, during or after the session.
Can I cancel a Cuddling Session?
The client and cuddler can cancel a session if they want or feel like they need to for any reason. All paid sessions will NOT be refunded, however. Once a session is booked and paid for, then there is no refund on an unused, partially used or completed session. We treat your payment as a binding contract between client and cuddler for session services to be rendered. Time is money, and that should always be respected. If you are unsure of paying for or participating in a session, then do not. You will never be forced to book a session.
Are all Cuddling Sessions confidential/private?
Public sessions (like a park or restaurant) are only as private as who else sees what it going on. But yes, private sessions are always confidential between client and cuddler. Client information will never be shared, unless there is written permisson by client to share for reasons such as promoting or marketing. Your privacy is important and it is one of our Rules.
What should I wear to a Cuddling Session?
You should be comfortable when cuddling, so wear a t-shirt or sweetshirt and shorts or sweat pants or comfortable pants. You may not be completely or partially nude, wear lingerie (bras and underpants), swim wear or any other inappropriate, revealing clothing. Undressing in front of each other, by client or cuddler is prohibited.
Is kissing allowed during a Cuddling Session?
No. Kissing and licking of any sort are prohibited. Light breathing on the body is acceptible if agreed upon by both client and cuddler. Hugs are always acceptable if agreed upon.
Will you allow more than two people at a time (besides client and cuddler) to participate in a session?
No. Private sessions are 1-on-1 only with the client and I. However, in rare circumstances, with client consent, another person might be at the session to help with recording video for promotional or documentation purposes. Also, if the client has family members or roommates that live in the same house, that's totally acceptable. In public sessions, the number of attendees is not in our control. Furthermore, in the future, I reserve the possibility of holding group cuddling events and client consent will be needed to attend these events.
What types of touching are allowed and where can touching be done on a body during a Cuddling Session?
Light caressing and touching is permissible, but only in appropriate areas and only if agreed upon by client and cuddler. Groping is never allowed and is considered inappropriate. Massaging is also NOT allowed, only light caressing. Any area of the body that would be under a swim suit is ALWAYS considered an inappropriate area. Also, any part of the body that the client and cuddler agree upon as inappropriate, will then become considered an inappropriate area, as well. Hugs are always acceptable if agreed upon.
Is The Cuddling Companion a licensed therapist or licensed masseuse?
No. The Cuddling Companion is only an independent wellness practitioner that is offering time, hugs, cuddles and conversation with the client in exchange for an agreed upon session fee. No formal college doctorate degree or state license is required for these sessions. In fact, Professional cuddling is an unregulated industry and there is no formal training or certification required to practice. There are never any massages and no professional therapy is given either physically or phychologically. These non-sexual, cuddling sessions are purely for fun, entertainment and relaxation purposes.
Does the Cuddling Session always have to include touching?
No. The client and cuddler can also just have good conversion, play games, watch tv, listen to music, sing, pure quiet, or whatever as long as it adheres to the Rules. Be creative during your sessions. Mix it up from time to time.
Is it normal if a client or cuddler becomes aroused during a Cuddling Session?
Yes. It doesn't alway happen, but in fact, arousal is a normal human response to certain types of touch and talk, and your session can continue normally without sexual intent or actions. It's important that the client and cudler never respond in an inappropriate way that will further increase arousal. It should simply be ignored should this happen. To help alleviate this situation, I also generally bring what I call my buddy PP (Protection Pillow) with me to sessions. When Cuddling, I place the PP between the client and myself, just in case anything arises (no pun intended).
Can I stop a Cuddling Session before it is scheduled to end?
Yes. Both a client and cuddler may stop a session at any time one feels uncomfortable. You must tell your cuddler immediately, if you become uncomfortable at any time. Part of the cuddling experience is communication, so please tell The Cuddling Companion if there is a problem. There will be no refund if a session is stopped short of the scheduled ending time.
Do I have to shower before each Cuddling Session?
Yes. Cleanliness is a requirement. It is respectful to be clean with good hygiene by both the client and the cuddler. Showering, brushing teeth recently and clean clothes are expected.
How long will my Cuddling Session last?
It varies. The minimum session is 1 hour (60 minutes) and overnight stays can be scheduled or Travel Companion trips are also an option. See Rates.
